The Beatles were a phenomenon, performing together for a few short years but leaving a legacy which still endures 40 years later.
People of all ages in every corner of the World have an affinity with the music of the Beatles. Their songs are truly everywhere. It's about remembering those classic songs but this time performed uniquely by five guys who wanted to sing it their way.
Classics such as Eleanor Rigby, with a hint of pathos and tragedy. Or A Hard Day's Night - straight from Bluesland. Or what about Jealous Guy, delivered this time as a soul song?
On the BEATLEJAM stage, those songs are cherished yet explored and expanded with love. How do you tell someone what to expect? How do you describe a meeting between Dr John, Al Jarreau, Boz Scaggs and Donny Hathaway? Oh, and Stan Getz just walked in.
With expert, experienced musicianship and outstanding 3-part harmonies, those tunes are taken for a ride which takes in a few altered arrangements, a change of tempo and rhythm and a pinch of improvisation. All in all, a glass of Beatle juice with a twist.
