We are four blokes who live in the ever changing steel city of Sheffield.. Myself (charva), Nobby and Pitchy have been making music together for the best part of a decade starting off in the late 90's in psychedelic rock band "The Honeytrippers" in that time we have formed pretty special friendships. In 2003 i crossed paths and became good mates with our now lead guitarist Tomo. After inviting him down for a Jam with the lads we all instantly new that we had got our man and became know as "Durban Stone" later shorten to "Durban" a solid no bullshit rock n roll band, a band that are doing it for love and passion all the right reasons. i think i can speak for the rest of the lads when saying to us sense of achivement and sucess are about feeling good inside with what you do, not about the amount of money or the level of status you get within the uk music industry.. isnt it funny that the legendry bands like the Roses.. Primal Scream.. Happy Monday.. Radio Head etc.. they all did it there way!! as we will continue to do signed or not..
