About

In November 2005, from the shadow of former bands, vocalist Lou Ede and guitarist Andy Stoddart set out to rebuild the band then known as Asphyxia. Previous members had departed due to other commitments, musical differences and living in fucking Africa, leaving previous incarnations defunct, until drummer Mike Bassam joined the band after meeting through a mutual friend.

Lou, Andy and Mike began writing new material (and reworking some old parts with the help of former guitarist Dan Cleary) whilst still in search of a second guitarist and bassist to complete the band. Will Hales joined the band in summer of 2006 as a makeshift bassist to add more of a rhythm to the band, only for Carl Nicholls to take over on bass a few months later, moving Will to guitar. In early 2007, they dropped the Asphyxia name reverting to a previous band name, Neonhalo.

In September 2007 the revolving bass door was stapled shut with the installation of Jackson Brown to the fold, following the late Carl Nicholls departure to persue a career with the Taliban, he was unsucessful and now resides in Bognor Regis. With a blend of 80's thrash, contempary death, rock n roll groove, neo progressive elements and heavy ass metal, Neonhalo are coming to rip off your face and throw it to the Nazis.
