About

"Citing a number of different influences REISSUE fuse indie, punk and rock effortlessly"

REISSUE are a 4-piece band from Southend-on-Sea. REISSUE formed in January 2004 with line up Daryl Hopkins (Vocals, Guitar), Michael Lawrence (Bass Guitar), Dan Burrage (Guitar) and Darren Brettell (Drums, Percussion). The band set to work creating their own material straight away. However it was early days for the band and they struggled to create the individual sound they desired. After three months Dan left the band, leaving REISSUE confused and as a three piece.

There was to be no quitting, REISSUE were injected with the will and determination to create their own songs and move forward. 2004 saw the band finding their feet and by the end of the year they had enough material to start performing live.

REISSUE have since played gigs on a regular basis and gone through a few line-up changes. Ben Crancher joined as a second guitarist in August 2006, and unfortunately Darren left the band in June 2007, and has now been replaced by Ben Illman on the skins.

A particular high point for REISSUE was when they were asked by Chinnery's to play on a Live & Unsigned Night for Sky T.V's The Musician's Channel in September 2005. , the band's biggest highlight so far was playing at the Guilfest Festival in July 2006, Since then they have supported bands of the calibre of Seafood and most Recently 3-mile high.

We are concentrating writing new material and looking to get more and more gigs, get down and support us if you can.

Much Love

REISSUE
