Riotbox are an eclectic 4 piece band from Sheffield. Together since late 2008 this band have been writing abundantly in order to produce the material that makes their fresh sound described as grungy,indie, rock. The guys, all experienced musicians have a style and attitude that does'nt fail to produce a "good live show" They have been portrayed as a band with resolute and diverse
ideas,whose performance leaves their audiences gratified and wanting more. The bands intentions are to continue to enhance their exposure to a wider uk audience and at the same time increase their local following.

From Sheffield, Darryl an extremely experienced and talented drummer completes the 4 piece. He also tutors other drummers having recently qualified at the highest level.

Has been playing bass since 1998, has played in other bands since the formation of Riotbox in 2008 and writes alongside of the other band. members

Age: 20

Josh an exciting.energetic and original lead guitarist,coming from Manchester and currently studying at Sheffield Uni.

Age: 25

Matt from Sheffield plays rythym and writes both lyrics and music he believes in a bands originality and works towards this, alongside the others.

All band members have gigged extensively for several years, Sheffield Leadmill, Sheffield Boardwalk

Recent venues include Sheffield: Stock Room,West St Live,The Howard,Live and Unsigned@ Sheffield City Hall and Doncaster Vintage Rock Bar, Hope&Anchor Islington, Old Bell Derby, Grapes Sheffield, and shortly 02 academy, and Plug Sheffield see myspace gig list
