About

SKY- Queen of rap poetry
"Sky" (Fatima L'homme) is the real deal. She does not imitate, she creates...., and she does it her way.
Individuality, poetic lyrics and plenty of heart is always applied when Sky lays down a rhyme. Hailing from Hackney, London, "Sky's" background and interests are as versatile as she is.
A student, poet, rapper, model, performer, actress and youth-worker; "Sky" is very involved in spreading a message of peace and positivity within her community. She's currently studying for a degree in Performance Art / Community Development but is a keen student of the arts in general, with previous courses taken in: drama workshop, playwright, performance reading and improvisation.
You might have seen her as an actress with "The Hoxton Hall Theatre" between 2001-2005 or at the Bride-well Theatre in the African play Nancy in 2002
Or you might have seen her at the "Stratford Theatre" as part of one of the many performances she participated in, in connection with her studies. But most likely are you to hear her perform her beautiful poetic style of rap at many of the local open mic- venues or poetry/slam clubs around London. "Sky's" performance as a guest poet at the "Hackney Empire", brought down the house and her performance at the "Hoxton Hall" for black history month earned her a review in the "Hackney Gazette". In 2009 her performance at "Oceans" landed her in the "Hackney Today Newspaper".
Her distinct style of rap / poetry has been heard on many mix tapes and underground releases such as "Mash Town" and "Making endz meet". She also featured as a rapper on award winning DVD "Clash Of Da Tight 1's" and as a poet on the DVD "Shayne TV".
"Sky's" face has been gracing campaigns for: Black Hair, Pride magazine, Ebony magazine, Pac's magazine, Tya and more and she has modelled for designers such as; Simone Williams, H&M, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridges, Rocket, Urban outfitters, Liana Sims, American Dream, and many more.
Her latest pictures are soon to grace the walls of Roa gallery (Piccadilly Circus) as part of Gloria Alozia's photographic art exhibition.
"Sky" is currently in the studio recording material for her solo album, working with some of the most credited producers in London and her first official solo single is expected in September. It will no doubt carry her signature style and flow and be nothing but the best....in true "Sky" style.
Watch this space for more "Sky".
