We are able to offer your tracks to some of our labels.

However if we are able to place product (industry term for music) with one of our independent label these will be the general conditions:

Term / Length of Contract:

The length of the contract will be for the life of copyright. However the contract will only relate to the songs as recorded and the Artist would be able to re-record the tracks under other contracts.

Only the tracks are assigned as recorded masters.

The Artist is only signed to the label from the signature of the contract until the delivery of the master. That can be the same moment.

Royalty:

This is the amount of money you will receive for sales of the recordings. These are standard at 20% of the monies received by the label across all formats.

We will endeavour to place the recordings with labels in the UK and overseas ( this enables you to sell records in those territories without being contracted to an evil organisation for the remainder of your life).

What does that mean?

It means that our deal with these labels allow us to operate as the manufacturing, sales and marketing force and handle fulfillment, storage and billing in several territories.

Pardon?

We make the CD's, send them to radio and press. Then we call the shops on the telephone, to make them buy some. Then send the records to the shops and chase them for the money! across different european countries.

It really is that simple.

This arrangement gives us the opportunity to approach 3000 UK outlets. Unfortunately unless your artist is top 40, then we are really dealing with about 200 shops, out of which only 60 are worthwhile.

We present product to the head offices of the following stores: HMV and Virgin (Zavvi) as well as calling about 200 independent retailers.

We also have product available through Virtual systems including our own eShop, and iTunes etc and through eRetailers like Amazon, Google etc..

What if my record becomes a hit?

If the artist's release takes-off, then by working with variable partners have the ability to move up a gear and deal with the other 2,400 UK shops including Woolworth's, WHSmith, ASDA, TESCO etc....
